ICS ANNOUNCES TWO BUSINESS AQUISITIONS
International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS), a Vancouver based Conference Management firm, is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of both Pacific Northwest Planners (PNWP) and Education & Career Fairs (ECF) to ICS.
PNWP is an event services company that has been in business since 1996 and has enjoyed much success with both tradeshow and conference management. Along with the sale of PNWP, ICS has both acquired the contract for the BC Association of Broadcasters Annual Conference for 2010 (Victoria) and 2011 (Kelowna) and will continue to manage the Bird Strike North America Conference which PNWP has been organizing in Canada since 1999. The 2009 Bird Strike North America Conference is to be held September 14-17, 2009 at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria, BC, Canada. The aim of the bi-annual conference is to raise awareness and share information to reduce the frequency and consequence of bird strikes related to aviation.
The purchase of ECF brings under the ICS umbrella a series of successful trade shows. The Education & Career Fairs are the Largest Career Planning Events in British Columbia, Canada. With exhibits in a trade show format with seminars, each Education & Career Fair is designed to help attendees develop or change their career path. The Fairs introduce a variety of post secondary education choices, career and employment options and provide labour market information. ICS looks forward to building upon the previous success of the career fairs and to grow the trade show into new markets.
“We are pleased that we can continue to provide youth with the opportunity to learn about their education and employment options,” said Mr. Mathias Posch, President, ICS. ICS is pleased to welcome all employees from PNWP & ECF. They will continue to perform their previous duties now with the aid of their new ICS colleagues. ICS looks forward to meeting and working with past and future clients and suppliers of both PNWP & ECF.
